Hello!
I’m Ana, the owner and head planner of The Wedding Bee. I’m based in Hertfordshire but spend some of my time on the Isle of Wight because I love to be by the sea! I love the outdoors and going for long walks with my husband and fur baby Reggie, followed by a beach BBQ and a sunset!
I’m a true romantic and love watching a romcom accompanied by a large glass of vino! I’m obsessed with all things to do with weddings (as you’ll find out if you hire me!) I have always been one of those girls that has dreamt of their wedding since they were little!
Feed me pizza and I’ll be your friend for life!
I got married last year in the Isle of Wight – that’s me on my wedding day looking like I’m doing a runner! In actual fact I was leading the conga line during our Surprise Singing Waiters set! SO MUCH FUN!
We got married in a beautiful barn, dry hire venue which gave us the flexibility to style our wedding to suit us perfectly! I love dry hire venues because they can be moulded to suit every couple!
We planned a wedding weekend and organised for all our guests to stay in glamping accommodation on site. It was important to us to be able to catch up with everyone over the whole weekend. It really took the pressure off the wedding day not needing to talk to anyone specific. We were able to relax and celebrate getting married together!
One of the most important things I will do as your wedding planner is get a clear set of priorities for you as a couple so you can have your wedding exactly how you want it!
My Approach
My main goal as a wedding planner is to provide you with a service that exceeds your expectations and provides you with a wedding you might not have thought possible.
I make sure I get to know you well, understand your likes and disklikes and your wedding must haves! From there I work with you to create YOUR perfect wedding!
By hiring me you aren’t left out of anything and can still take all the credit, as after all the wedding has been created by YOU! You still make all of the decisions, I am there just to streamline the planning process and save you time by recommending suppliers that suit you as a couple and handling all of the logistics (the boring stuff!)
I have a background in Finance and Project Management (very different I know) and over the years have planned and coordinated several large scale charity events. As you can probably guess I am a proper geek with spreadsheets and will make sure every penny of your budget is spent adding value to your wedding!
I decided to become a wedding planner because, as you’ll already know, I LOVE weddings but I also really enjoy being able to help couples create the best day of their lives from just ideas and pinterest boards into the real thing! There’s nothing more rewarding!
I thrive in the details and will make sure everything has been thought of and executed perfectly!
I am fully trained with the UK Wedding Planners Alliance which is the leading industry body for wedding planners!
